Know a Language, Know the Place

Know a Language, Know the PlacePeople who find joy in learning new things usually find pleasure in becoming apart of it. By becoming a part of something means living in it too. So if you find marvel studying a different language, you will find amazement traversing the culture as well. It helps a lot if you bring your self in connection to the root of its beginning. For instance, if you study Spanish, it will be more inspiring if you study it in Spain. Or if you want to do a ‘Språkresor’, the best way is to go to Sweden. But, if the means to do so is limited, you can sit still where you are, who ever said you cannot learn unless you are out there? How you can learn is entirely how you do the learning. The only advantage of being in the foreign land and studying the language of the place is that it gets you connected and involved. What’s more, if you actually study the language in its proper place you will learn more. Obviously the place can offer you a lot more than you can learn at your own pace. You will go smooth with a teaching method that can really get you in tune with all that you need to know. You will also have flexibility of your time as almost everything is set and arranged for you. Furthermore, it is easy to visit interesting destinations that enriches your lifestyle. Now, if it’s Spanish language that you choose to study, well, there are many awesome places in Spain that you should explore. You can even indulge in the cultural activities and sightseeing excursions that will engage you in the rich culture of the host cities, and discovering everything else in it such as the usual fiestas. And when you are through with your study for the day, you can enjoy relaxed conversations in Tapas bars and cafes, or simply take pleasant walks. So while you are making new friends, you are opening yourself to acquiring new knowledge too. You will gradually learn how they think and live. It is always easier and quicker to learn if you are seeing visible outcome, having more inspiration and most of all, having more fun!

Important Things a Language Learner Must Have

Important Things a Language Learner Must HaveLearning a new language can be a major struggle for some people but some take it up as a challenge and succeed in their goals in learning a new language. Learning a new language has many uses and advantages most of them, if not all, are to the benefit of the language learner. There are many ways to learn a language yet there are just three very important things which a language learner must possess: time, persistence and hard work.

Time is essential in learning a language. A language learner must make time for learning a new language. The learner should know where, in his or her list of priorities, is language learning situated. If it is among the top priorities of the learner, he or she should fit it on the schedule no matter how tight the schedule is. A learner must also know that learning a language takes a lot of time and it means it could take more than just a couple of weeks. Patience is certainly a virtue a language learner must possess.

Persistence is also one of the important things to be considered in learning a language. A language learner’s determination to learn the target language will enable him or her to have a full grasp of it. If a language has enrolled in a language program just to be called a language learner is pointless. A language learner must learn the language in order to be called one. If a language learner is persistent in learning, he or she will eventually be successful in the future!

After setting aside valuable time and having the determination to succeed, a language learner must involve hard work in order to be successful with his or her language learning goals. Putting in a lot of hard work means that the learner should start with a ‘Språkkurs’ and learn the vocabulary of the target language, practice the construction of grammar, and using the language in order to have a better command of it. Hard work together with time and persistence will surely drive the learner to a successful language learning experience!

So what are you waiting for? Learn a new language right now and be sure you have the essential qualities of a successful language learner!

Easy way in learning a language

Easy way in learning a languageLanguage has so many forms. It can be in a form of codes, words, signals, colors, sounds, actions and texts. Language doesn’t have to be in a form of words. If two people can understand and relay messages in any form then it is considered as a language. During my freshman year, my friend and I made a secret code for the two of us only. So, we could write and send messages to each other without letting the others know the meaning of the message. This code we made became our language in communicating for the next four years of stay in high school. Our friends then became interested in it and so we taught them the language. Until almost everybody in school knew the codes we made. Even our teachers became interested in it and ask us to decode the meaning of the language we use because so many students were using it at that time. Yet we decided not to let the teachers know the language or code we made so that we could talk about a topic and don’t let them know the meaning of it. The learning of this code we made was easy for our friends because they have the desire to know it immediately to be able to join our group discussion using the code or language that we made. My friends’ reason in learning the language we made is important to them at the time. We fell in love with the language we made that is why we had used it for4 long years in communicating.

In learning any foreign language you should have a strong desire to learn it. The reasons for learning it should be strong enough for you to be interested to learn it - be it wanting to make friends (say poker nights with Spanish people playing their “juegos de casino” or French cooking cuisine nights or Italian nights at the opera) or professional reasons. You can hire a tutor if you want, research all you want, enroll in a class eight a hours a day and yet you found yourself still can not be able to communicate through the language that you wanted to learn. This is because the desire you put in learning it is mediocre. Being mediocre could make the learning of the language very hard. The second easy way to learn a new language is to assess the need and reasons of learning it. If the need of learning a new language is very important like for example putting up a business in that new place or studying in that place then you push yourself to indeed understand the language. If the reasons of learning the language are not that important then your willingness to understand it is very low then understanding it will take a long time. The third easy way to learn a new language is to love it at first sight. Could we imagine ourselves being in love with something or someone? We wanted to know everything about that thing or person. We want to be updated with everything about it. We dream and imagine about that thing or someone. Then this thing or person would occupy our time almost everyday of our life. Falling in love with the language we wanted to learn is one sure, fast and easy way to learn it. If you fall in love with the language you also wanted to learn everything about the new language, you wanted to spend time getting to know the language, then you hire people to teach you how to get to know the language, then you enroll yourself in classes that could help you polish your new language. Then in a month or two you are learning the new language and communicating with it the easy way and with such speed that you talk with it as if you are native speaking that language.
